ABOUT THE CONSULTATION

Our Proven Process

We understand that preparing for a surgical consultation can be overwhelming; there’s so much information to exchange in such a short amount of time.

To address this, we’ve broken the consultation down into two convenient parts. First, we start with a private virtual conversation. This is always followed by an in-office consultation where you’ll meet with your surgeon in person.

Why It Works

How The Virtual Consultation Serves You

  • 01

Begin From The Comfort of Home

Like many individuals, you may feel more comfortable initially discussing your aesthetic goals and concerns in the privacy of your own home during a virtual consultation. It can create a more relaxed atmosphere for open communication.

  • 02

No Need To Travel Or Take-Off Work

Virtual consultations provide a convenient way for patients to begin the process without having to travel to the office or take time away. It is particularly advantageous for individuals who live outside of the Columbus area or have busy schedules.

  • 03

    Improved Surgeon Interactions

This virtual conversation gives you the chance to break the ice and get some of the nervousness out of the way early. You can complete your paperwork in the comfort of your home and walk into your in-person consultation with greater confidence, ensuring the conversation is all about you.

  • 04

    Receive A Personalized Quote

Virtual consultations allow us to perform an initial assessment and discuss your options early on, so you can receive a customized quote. This can help you determine if you’d like to move forward and what specific procedures might be suitable.

  • 05

    No Commitments Necessary

We never ask you for any upfront commitments during your consultation. It is a low-stakes, no-commitment conversation! Any investment you make into moving forward is solely your decision to make.

  • 06

    Start Your Experience Sooner

Virtual conversations are convenient for everyone involved! By meeting this way initially, we are able to get your questions answered by our trusted professionals faster instead of having to wait for a private room to become available at our office.

Part 1 | The Virtual Consultation

IT’S ALL ABOUT THE DETAILS

What Happens Virtually

We respect your time and that you choose to spend it with us, so we offer virtual consults that are convenient, efficient and centered around you. This communication option provides a seamless, low-commitment way to initiate the process and manage logistical details so that the in-person consultation with your surgeon is focused solely on your goals.

During your consultation, our medical professionals will listen intently to understand your goals and desires. We will then provide you with a series of tailored recommendations, before & after photos, and detailed answers to every question. You will also receive your personalized surgical quote, and even the option to schedule your procedure.

Part 2 | The In-Person Consultation

IT’S ALL ABOUT YOU

What Happens In-Person

With the virtual consultation taken care of, you are now fully prepared to meet with your surgeon at our office! Not only will you meet your board-certified surgeon, but you’ll also get to know the members of their team.

In your private room, we give you the space to ask any additional questions. We will then acquire the sizing and measurements necessary. We will provide the answers you’ve been looking for to move forward with your procedure. Once we have the information we need and you feel comfortable, we will usher you to our surgical experience director’s office to discuss the details of your quote, along with financing options and finalizing your surgery date.

Consultation FAQs

Scheduling a consultation with us is easy and convenient. Simply follow these three steps:

1. Call and speak with our team:

We offer a variety of consultations for different concerns, from routine procedures to specialized treatments. Our team can help you narrow down the options and help you select the services that align with your goals.

2. Pick a time that works for you:

We understand that your time is valuable. That’s why we offer flexible scheduling options that can accommodate your busy schedule. Simply choose a date and time that works best for you, and we’ll take care of the rest!

3. Book your appointment:

All that’s left now is to confirm your appointment. We’ll send you a confirmation email with the details, so you can rest assured that your consultation is booked.

We understand that cost is an important consideration for many patients, and pride ourselves on being transparent and upfront about the cost of our services.

When it comes to surgical procedures, many factors can influence the final cost, such as the anesthesia and the length of the surgery. Without a consultation, it’s not possible to accurately estimate the cost of a surgical procedure.

That’s why we encourage you to schedule a consultation with our medical professionals. Not only will you receive expert care, but you’ll also receive a personalized quote that takes into account all of your unique considerations.

We tailor our process to match your needs – not the status quo. Virtual consultations offer many benefits that make them an ideal first step in your surgical journey. During this time, you can connect with our experts from the comfort of your own home, without the need to travel or take time off work.

Virtual consultations also allow us to gather all of the information we need to properly quote and develop a personalized treatment plan for you. This saves you time and money while ensuring that you receive the best possible care.

Your second, in-office consultation will be scheduled during your virtual consultation.

By gathering the preliminary information during a virtual consultation, we can determine who you should see when you come in and how we can make the most of your time in the office. This approach not only saves you time and money, but it also helps to ensure that you receive the most appropriate care for your needs.

Before your virtual consultation, we will need you to complete your New Patient Paperwork through our patient portal and upload pictures of the area you are interested in treating. You can find the instructions on how to take and upload these photos here!

We believe that access to high-quality healthcare should be available to everyone, which is why we offer our services on a fee-for-service basis and do not accept insurance.

While we understand that insurance can help to offset the cost of medical care, we also recognize that insurance can often create barriers to accessing the best care. Through this model, we can provide you with the care you need, when you need it, without the hassle and restrictions of insurance.

It’s important to note that we do have a BMI limit for surgery. BMI, or body mass index, is a measure of body fat based on height and weight. It’s an important factor to consider when determining the best course of treatment for a variety of medical conditions, including those that require surgery.

While we understand that surgery can be a life-changing option for many patients, it’s important to consider the risks associated with surgery in individuals with a high BMI. These risks can include longer surgical times, higher risk of complications during and after surgery, and increased recovery times.

To ensure the best possible outcomes, we have the following BMI limits for surgery:

For all treatments, the upper BMI limit is 40. Certain surgeries like thigh lift, tummy tucks and buttock contouring have a BMI limit of 35. Please call us if you have any questions about our BMI limits.

We’re dedicated to providing our patients with the highest quality of care, and part of that commitment includes ensuring that our surgical procedures are performed safely and effectively. As a result, we do have an age restriction for surgery.

You must be at least 18 to pursue surgery as an individual. However, we understand that surgery can sometimes be necessary for people of all ages. For this reason, minors under the age of 18 may be considered candidates for surgery under the guidance of a parent or legal guardian.

We consider a wide range of health factors when considering candidacy and do not perform surgery on patients 70 and older.
